Hi Lacey,
As the world energy changes minute by minute around me, I keep finding myself saying quietly "this person needs a yoga class". Not a day goes by that I don't speak with someone and feel their emotional weight and think yoga would be such a healing tool for this person to rely on.
I find I am aware of how a total stranger BREATHES; how they rush a breath in or out. Your voice guides me through a day when a moment of emotional intensity heats up-- I hear you saying "Your breath is your best friend" or "Breath deeply and slowly in and out". I hear your voice as I awaken from sleep guiding me to let my body slowly awaken starting with fingers, toes, ETC. I used to bounce (literally) out of bed the minute the alarm rang.
All of this to say thank you. You are such a gift. I cannot thank you enough for all the beautiful things I am learning in your class.

Hello Lacey
I have enjoyed receiving your emails. Thursday night I will be with my mat and the others in class, including you. Your shared insights as you experienced the Michigan Ice Storm were affirmations to me that I am responsible for my reaction to a situation and my subsequent attitudes. It is called practicing Life.
Throughout my life, Breath has not been given its fair share of space within me. In anxious times, I tend to hold on to it and not let it go. In 2014 I intend to give Breath more space and allow it to move much more freely.
